Provide a wide variety of professional nursing services focusing on quality patient care.
Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patients/families to develop, implement, and assess patient care plans.
Engage in direct patient care including assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delegating work to the patient care team.
Provide education and consultation to patients, families, physicians, and other staff members regarding appropriate nursing interventions.
Utilize judgment and critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care.
Maintain continuous contact with physicians, patients, patient families, community agencies, patient care staff, and management.
Accountability for the quality of care provided to patients, directing care, providing education, and delegating appropriate tasks.

Lactation certification
Previous Labor and Delivery Experience
National Certification Corporation (NCC) or American Nurses Credentialing Center certification

Experience: Minimum 6 months previous RN experience required; 1 year of related work experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN degree preferred.

License & Certification:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) completion within 6 months of date of hire
