Provide safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Set up and operate hemodialysis machines.
Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment.
Support the organization’s commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
Assist healthcare members in providing patient-specific education regarding various monitoring programs.
Monitor patient well-being, evaluate vascular access, and perform cannulation.
Obtain pre and post-treatment vital signs and weights, and discontinue treatment according to procedures.
Document treatment parameters accurately and timely.
Report significant patient condition changes to registered nurse or supervisor.
Participate in recruitment, orientation, and training of clinical staff.
Conduct quality audits for infection control and support adherence to infection control practices.
Assist with coordination of transitional dialysis care for newly admitted patients.
Maintain effective communication with clinical managers and support staff.

Experience: At least five years of patient care experience preferred.

Education: High School diploma or G.E.D. required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
