Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to a defined group of patients, adhering to ambulatory Nursing Care Standards and the Nursing Code of Ethics.
- Coordinate and facilitate Health Care services for the patient within the Health Care delivery system.
- Provide and coordinate nursing care in collaboration with the Health Care team.
- Use the nursing process to conduct ongoing assessments of nursing care needs.
- Develop a written plan of care based on nursing diagnosis and patient needs.
- Assist patients and families in developing health care goals as part of the individualized plan of care.
- Determine priorities of patient care based on essential needs and resources available.
- Provide nursing interventions safely and competently.
- Offer information to patients and families prior to interventions.
- Provide telephone consultations to patients and families.
- Evaluate patients' response to care and modify the individual plan in collaboration with the health care team.
- Communicate effectively with specific age populations served.
- Assess needs of designated patients requiring hospitalization and initiate nursing admission database.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with team members.
- Identify educational needs during nursing assessment and develop educational components accordingly.
- Provide teaching and counseling that aligns with patients' and families' learning needs.
- Encourage patient compliance with therapeutic and medical regimens.
- Adhere to documentation, safety, and infection control standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and staff orientation activities.
- Assure quality of care through the development and evaluation of professional nursing standards.

Requirements
Experience: Nursing experience within the last five years
Education: Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse License (Washington) required at hire
- Compact License: Registered Nurse required at hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire
- Basic Life Support required at hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support required at hire
