Job Responsibilities
- Assist the manager in the daily operations of one or more clinical areas.
- Supervise patient care services staff to ensure patient safety.
- Provide high quality outcomes and an exceptional patient/family experience.
- Assist manager in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget.
- Coordinate purchasing and payroll processes.
- Serve as a technical/clinical resource to team members.
- Perform work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and mentor/assist staff.
- Assist manager with interviewing, hiring, developing, and retaining staff members.
- Coordinate and/or assist with staff education, orientation, and precepting of team members.
- Utilize effective communication/interpersonal skills to support achieving department goals.

Requirements
Experience: 2 years RN Experience Required
Education: RN-Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED
License & Certification:
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

- Full-Time (40 hours) with a rotating schedule
