Position: Pediatric Home Care Nurse
Job Type: Full Time, Part Time
Pay: Up to $28/hr
Shift: 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts; Friday - Sunday, Day and Night Shifts available

Job Responsibilities
- Provide quality, comprehensive nursing care in client’s home under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Participate in the development of the plan of care along with other interdisciplinary team members.
- Report to the director of nursing.
- Provide health education to patient and/or caregiver.
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required.
- Obtain co-signature of RN Case Manager on all verbal orders.
- Follow up with physician, client, family members, staff, and RN on client problems and concerns.
- Maintain communication with physician including report of client condition change and accepting verbal orders.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Active nurse license in the state of Texas or compact license
- Current CPR card from either the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
Preferred Skills
- Home Health experience (LVN/RN preferred)
