Job Title: Complex Care Nurse

Position: office based

Job Type: Bank Nurse/0 hours

Pay: £21.00 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday availability with some flexibility in unsocial hours

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical expertise and leadership for safe, high-quality complex care delivery.
  • Manage a client caseload while collaborating with stakeholders and other healthcare services.
  • Support the assessment, mobilisation, and implementation of complex care for clients.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments of individual client needs.
  • Provide evidence-based clinical expertise and advice related to care planning and delivery.
  • Attend meetings and liaise with MDT, commissioners, case managers, and clients.
  • Act as a role model and leader for all staff.
  • Facilitate and deliver ongoing clinical knowledge/skills training and competency assessments.
  • Delegate clinical healthcare tasks for clients to maintain quality of life in the community.
  • Maintain high standards and proactively manage quality improvement, clinical risks, and safety concerns.
  • Drive best practices to ensure high-quality care.
  • Promote compliance with internal policies and national standards.
  • Commit to improving client/family experience throughout the care pathway.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain new business streams to support the growth of clinical services.

Required Skills

Core Skills

  • Registered Nurse with NMC and active PIN
  • Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience
  • Management of clinical risk
  • Experience with safeguarding adults and children
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective people management skills
  • Excellent IT and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of clinical governance
  • Leadership skills

Preferred Skills

  • Recognized teaching qualification/experience
  • Experience in developing policy and managing resources
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Experience in interpreting and analyzing data
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a car

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience including community or hospital setting
