Job Responsibilities

Oversee and develop the ambulatory surgical center’s clinical departments.
Implement staff development programs and quality assurance.
Monitor budgets for service programs.
Work with other members of the management team and communicate effectively.
Develop and plan strategies to manage program growth and ensure business sustainability.

Required Skills

Management and staff supervision experience
Great communication skills
Organizational and program development skills
Basic computer software knowledge, such as Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills

Ambulatory experience
Surgical experience in clinical areas of pre-op/PACU or perioperative nursing

Requirements

Experience: At least five years operating room/critical care experience, and at least two years supervisory experience in the outpatient surgery area.

Education: BSN or higher degree from a professional school of Nursing.

License & Certification:

Current license as a Florida Registered Nurse
Current certification in BLS
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification

Schedule:

Attendance at mandatory in-services and meetings
