Job Responsibilities

Requests, interprets and evaluates diagnostic and laboratory tests.
Identifies and reports specific signs and symptoms, problems or potential problems requiring further assessment.
Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Current knowledge and level of expertise in evidence and theory-based practice.
Infection control standards and clinical evaluations in providing care.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably Epic.
Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Outstanding customer service and conflict resolution abilities.

Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.
Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Acute Care board certification AND Registered nurse first assist (RNFA) certification required for APRNs.
National certification is required for Physician Assistants.
