Ensures nursing practice reflects established standards of care and promotes patient safety.
Shares leadership responsibilities for the nursing unit under the general direction of the Patient Care Manager.
Manages daily staffing plans for the nursing unit.
Ensures appropriate and timely use of bed placement technology.
Adheres to care processes for bed placement, patient transfer, patient transport, room cleaning, and patient discharge.
Facilitates the safe transition of patients through the continuum of care.
Participates in planning and coordinating patient care.
Directs hand-off to the next appropriate level of care.

Experience: Two years applicable clinical experience, one of which is in a leadership role.

Education: Graduate of an accredited program.
