Provide educational opportunities to nurses and leaders for their professional development.
Work closely with key stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and gaps in competencies.
Conduct needs assessments to identify and bridge knowledge, skill, and/or practice gaps.
Lead the design of education programs to meet the developmental needs of clinical staff.
Set standards and objectives for development and learning programs utilizing adult learning principles.
Serve as a master trainer leading professional development and guiding other trainers.
Monitor effectiveness of development by reviewing metrics and outcome measures.
Oversee continuous improvement through research and critical appraisal of literature.
Communicate goals, objectives, and outcomes of professional nursing education programs to stakeholders.
Validate clinical and professional standards through policies and protocols.

Experience: Minimum two (2) years in clinical teaching, nursing professional development, or related experience.

Education: Master's degree in Nursing or a health-related field.

License & Certification:

Registered Nurse License (California)
Basic Life Support certification
American Nurses Credentialing Center Certificate - Nursing Professional Development Certification within 6 months of hire
