Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
Utilize systematic planning and timely information exchange with multidisciplinary teams and patients/families to coordinate care.
Manage multiple patient needs and aspects of care.
Communicate actively with care team to plan patient care.
Problem-solve and determine effective approaches for patient care.
Utilize nursing process and critical thinking to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care.
Evaluate interventions and adjust plans as needs change.
Collaborate with patients, families, and team members to develop comprehensive care plans.
Document care according to department guidelines.
Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
Coordinate transfer and discharge planning with care teams.
