Job Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process according to established standards.
- Demonstrate performance consistent with the Medical Center Vision, Mission, and Strategic Plan.
- Serve as a leader of the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Demonstrate accountability and understanding of team members' scope of practice.
- Mentor, orient, and coach team members in unit operations and patient care activities.
- Prioritize, delegate, and supervise work assignments for patient care activities.
- Develop and contribute to individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and revise care plans based on ongoing evaluations.
- Ensure effective completion of discharge plans and patient education.
- Maintain accurate and dated documentation reflecting nursing processes.
- Discuss patient findings with physicians and other health team members.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
- Adhere to workplace safety principles and practices.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide optimal patient care experience.

Requirements
Experience: One (1) year recent full-time equivalent experience in ED, Critical Care, PACU, Step Down, DOU, or Ambulatory Cardiology.
Education: N/A
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse License (California)
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
