Directly responsible for the therapeutic care of patients.
Demonstrate clinical competency and leadership as a role model for Licensed Practical Nurses, Nursing Assistants, and students.
Serve as charge nurse in the absence of the Nursing Director or Assistant Nursing Director.
Promote good public relations for the unit, Nursing Division, and medical center while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Communicate effectively and project a positive, professional attitude toward patients, staff, visitors, and students.
Perform day-to-day nursing tasks appropriately.
Conduct oneself in a professional manner and dress appropriately.
Assign and responsibly direct staff.
Utilize independent judgment.

Experience: Previous RN operating room experience.

Education: Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate degree in nursing.
