Job Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment to patients.
  • Gather patient stats before and after treatment.
  • Initiate treatment and monitor patients during treatment.
  • Terminate treatment and collect patient blood samples per physician orders.
  • Prepare machines for hemodialysis treatments.
  • Clean and disinfect machines after treatment.
  • Conduct machine safety checks and log results for quality control.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and state/federal laws and regulations.
  • Participate in all required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.

Required Skills

Core Skills

  • Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
  • Comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
  • Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA.

Requirements

Experience: Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

License & Certification:

  • CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Patient Care Technician certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire date.
