Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate ESRD patient care and services, including trending lab values and tracking metrics on vital signs and weight.
- Ensure clinical team delivers the highest level of care, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and well-being.
- Build meaningful long-term relationships with patients and their families.
- Work with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
- Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs for patient observations and machine setup.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
Preferred Skills
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience
- Supervisory experience
Requirements
Experience: At least 18 months of registered nursing experience; at least 6 months of Dialysis RN experience required for bonus eligibility.
Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) preferred.
License & Certification:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- CPR certification
Schedule:
- Flexible schedule includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
