Job Responsibilities

Implements and monitors patient care plans.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Conducts systematic, dynamic assessment of patients considering physiological and psychological data.
Identifies clinical problems based on patient responses.
Sets measurable and achievable goals in collaboration with patient and family.
Documents assessment data and care plans.
Implements nursing care according to care plans.
Ensures patient safety through medication administration and provision of ordered treatments.
Provides patient/family education.
Continuously evaluates patient status and nursing care effectiveness.
Manages patient care processes from admission to discharge.
Delegates and supervises care as necessary.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred Skills

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
Bachelors of Science in Nursing

Requirements

Experience:

Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

License & Certification:

Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
