Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and service during surgery cases.
- Position and prep the patient for surgery.
- Circulate the surgical case.
- Act as a resource and provide guidance to non-licensed personnel.
- Care for adolescent to geriatric patients.
- Focus on excellent customer service.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and show flexibility in assignments.
- Maintain scrupulous infection control standards.
- Maintain professional competencies.
- Work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Orthopedic Operating Room Experience
- Minimum of two (2) previous OR experience
- Current Arizona Nursing License
- Current CPR and ACLS certified
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nursing
- Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills

Requirements
Experience: Preferred minimum of two (2) previous OR experience.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
License & Certification:
- Current Arizona Nursing License
- Current CPR certification
- Current ACLS certification
