Job Title: Patient Care Assistant - Med/Surg Neuro/ENT - Night Shift - PCA
Position: Assists nursing staff with patient care tasks
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $20.00/hr - $25.09/hr plus night shift differential
Shift: Nights Hours: 1900-0730, 3 x 12 hour shifts per week

Job Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care.
- Carry out designated skills within the functions of a certified nursing assistant.
- Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development throughout the life span.
- Communicate data reflective of the patient's status and delegated tasks.
- Work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Basic Life Support certification
- Knowledge of patient care principles
Preferred Skills
- Completion of Block 1 in Nursing
- Medical Assistant (MA) certification
- Nursing Assistant (CNA or LNA) certification
- 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting
Requirements
Experience: 6 months of experience in the healthcare setting within the last year.
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
License & Certification:
- Basic Life Support certification
Schedule:
- 3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule (Friday/Saturday)
