Job Title: Operating Room OR Nurse Manager
Position: Nursing Leadership Role
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $46.40 - $77.33 / hour, based on location, education, & experience. $10,000 sign-on and $10,000 relocation package available!
Shift: 7AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Friday

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of the unit to ensure smooth and efficient patient care management.
- Assure appropriate patient assignments to beds and staff.
- Complete daily rounding on patients and staff to ensure quality provision of care.
- Manage the unit to ensure patient and employee satisfaction while promoting safety and retention.
- Serve as a real-time resource and assist with clinical expertise for unit staff and physicians for problem-solving on patients, processes, and family issues.
- Coordinate quality initiatives and process improvements.
- Align and manage to metrics.
- Develop leadership skills among staff including communication, decision-making, problem-solving, critical thinking, and employee engagement.
- Lead the development of staff and support career advancement opportunities.
- Facilitate unit meetings and shared governance/leadership efforts.
- Responsible for selection, orientation, onboarding, and retention.
- Demonstrate leadership through coaching, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and development opportunities to create a culture of learning.
- Assist in the development of the operational and capital budget.
- Provide daily operational resource management including staff, supplies, and equipment, and ensure optimal productivity for the department.
- Supervise clinical unit staff to ensure excellent patient care.
- Participate in activities that foster management skills while enabling staff to care for patients, determine schedules, edit time cards, research budget issues, and order supplies.

Requirements
Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience relevant to patient population
Education: Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) required
License & Certification:
- Current RN license in state of practice
- BLS Required

- Must be available for call as required
