- Handle all supervisory duties for the assigned unit.
- Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures.
- Mentor less experienced nurses with clinical and career guidance.
- Maintain standards of care for the unit.
- Review resident records and quality of care.
- Monitor overall care and review individual resident cases.
- Address questions or complaints from residents or families.
- Represent the unit's interests with upper management.
