Job Responsibilities

Responsible for being a capable clinician with broad experience in caring for patients.
Effectively and respectfully communicate with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
Deliver safe, dependable, and effective care to a patient population using the nursing process.
Demonstrate developed assessment skills and recognize the impact of nursing care on patient outcomes.
Document the nursing process accurately and in the appropriate format.
Plan and implement patient care independently utilizing patient/family input and goals.
Manage time effectively while incorporating the AACN Synergy Model into clinical practice.
Identify the need to revise policies and procedures based on evidence-based research.
Achieve points and contact hours as defined in the PLAN (clinical lattice) point system.

Requirements

Experience: 2 years of recent nursing experience AND a minimum of 2 years in the area of concentration.

Education: Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

License & Certification:

Valid, unencumbered Registered Nursing License approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing
BLS certification
ACLS may be required for certain departments, post hire
