Job Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Nursing with the delivery of high quality care while achieving positive clinical outcomes.
- Lead, guide and direct the overall operations of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
- Ensure patient/resident care delivery is consistent with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, and policies.
- Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals for the best possible outcomes.
- Manage human resources in the assigned unit, including limiting overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orienting staff, assessing performance, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.
