Job Responsibilities
- Administer initial mental health evaluations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Manage medications and provide psychoeducation/supportive therapy.
- Utilize an Electronic Medical Record system to ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters.
- Spend a minimum of 60 minutes for intakes and 30 minutes for follow-up visits.
- Refer patients to specialists and therapists within a strong in-house referral network.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Board certification by the ANCC as a PMHNP
- Minimum of 4 years’ post-graduate experience as a PMHNP, preferably in telehealth
- Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record systems
- Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
- Ability to maintain active and unrestricted license and DEA number
Preferred Skills
- Prior RN experience in psychiatry/behavioral health
- Commitment to continuous education and evidence-based practice
Requirements
