Job Responsibilities
- Conduct education, skills, competencies, training, and clinical observations as directed by the Director of Nursing Services
- Implement quality assurance audit tools
- Act as the onboarding and retention champion for the community
- Assist in new employee hiring, onboarding, and orientation
- Engage with staff and advocate for their growth and development within the company
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Clinical experience in long-term care setting
- Knowledge of current federal and state laws and regulations in long-term care
- Ability to coach, mentor, and educate clinical staff
Preferred Skills
- Ongoing interest and enthusiasm for creating educational programs for care of the aged
Requirements
Experience: Minimum one year of experience in long-term care setting
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
License & Certification:
- Current Indiana Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR certification
