Conduct comprehensive evaluations and treatments of sleep disorders.
Collect, analyze, and integrate patient data to determine specific testing parameters.
Prepare, calibrate, and adjust sleep lab equipment as necessary.
Apply electrodes and sensors per accepted standards and perform physiological calibrations.
Conduct various tests following procedural protocols, such as MSLT, MWT, and oxygen titration.
Monitor the quality of polysomnographic data acquisition, identifying and resolving artifacts.
Document sleep stages, clinical events, and significant occurrences during procedures.
Implement patient-specific therapeutic interventions, including PAP, bi-level PAP, and oxygen administration.
Score sleep stages and clinical events according to professional guidelines.
Provide age-specific care in the treatment, assessment, and education of a diverse patient population.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with all policies and standards.

Experience: 0-2 years of experience in polysomnography or a related area of sleep study

Education:

License & Certification:

RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographer Technologist certification
BCLS - Basic Life Support
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) certification or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)/Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) with Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) designation is required within 6 months of hire.
