Provide excellent care through preventive medicine and detect potential decline to avoid crisis.
Engage all nurses, CNAs, and other disciplines in the care process.
Supervise, evaluate, guide, instruct, and foster the growth and development of staff on all shifts.
Adjust schedules accordingly to support all three shifts.
Prepare assignments of nursing personnel and delegate responsibilities with clear expectations.
Conduct routine meetings with unit staff.
Continuously audit and evaluate the quality of nursing/unit practices.
Assess, create, and deliver corrective action plans if necessary.

Experience: Proven clinical and managerial experience; prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.

Education: Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
