Provide excellent care through preventive medicine and detect potential decline to avoid crisis.
Engage in meaningful and purposeful rounding and impromptu huddles as necessary.
Supervise, evaluate, guide, instruct, and foster the growth and development of staff on all shifts.
Adjust schedule accordingly to support all three shifts.
Prepare assignments of nursing personnel and delegate responsibilities with clear expectations.
Conduct routine meetings with unit staff and audit continuously to evaluate the quality of nursing/unit practices.
Assess, create, and deliver corrective action plans if necessary.
Create a team environment of responsibility, passion, and focus among employees from all shifts.

Experience: Proven clinical and managerial experience preferred

Education: Graduate from an approved school of nursing
