Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates functions and activities related to a single departmental function.
- Responsible for a clinic unit.
- Coordinates the scheduling efforts of the unit RN's.
- Acts as liaison person to internal and external customers including pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, and hospital administration.
- Responsible for developing and implementing plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements.
- Trains and mentors staff.
Required Skills

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively implement change.
- Assistance with management of departmental budget.
- Independent decision-making in high-stress situations.
Preferred Skills
- Management experience.
- Certification in specialty area of practice.
Requirements
Experience: Two years of relevant clinical nursing experience and for Level II EQ only: A minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
License & Certification:
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- CPR.
- ACLS as applicable by Facility/by Department.
- PALS or ENPC required for ER.
- NRP required for Post-partum, Nursery, and L&D.
