Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.
Accountable for the care provided to patients in the Emergency Department.
Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
Knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies and Hospital Social Worker.
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Current and valid state RN License
Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
Current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross)
Current PALS (AHA or Red Cross)
Minimum 1 year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting or E.R. setting
