Job Responsibilities

Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
Develops, implements, and evaluates educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements, and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
Serves as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
Participates in the coordination and continuity of orientation programs, including preceptor programs.
Accountable for the documentation and validation Network staff training at Training Facility.
Provides curriculum development in collaboration with Clinical Education Specialists.
Participates in organizational goal setting and brainstorming activities.
Provides feedback on nursing procedures.
Supports and participates in the development of protocols related to practice in collaboration with other team members.
Participates in research and Quality Monitoring.
Participates in the evaluation of results and impact of services.

Requirements

Experience: Two (2) years related experience or one (1) year supervisory; preferred three (3) years specific area experience and one (1) year supervisory.

Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing, Education, or related field; may be currently enrolled in Master’s program.

License & Certification:

Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
