Job Responsibilities
- Perform patient need assessments and develop plan of care.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care services including the administration of medications and educating patients.
- Contribute to the team to ensure quality patient care within the RN scope of practice.
- Support all Perinatology locations and seven physicians.
- Engage in patient care that is roughly 50/50 with direct, face-to-face interaction and computer/phone work.
- Referral triage.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Prior OB/GYN or Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Current California Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS from American Heart Association
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm and professional during hectic times
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in an ambulatory/clinic setting
- OBGYN experience
- RN experience in Perinatology &/or Labor & Delivery
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Antenatal testing experience
Requirements
Experience: Prior OB/GYN or Labor & Delivery RN experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
License & Certification:
- Current California Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS from American Heart Association
