Job Title: RN Cath Lab - Days - Traveler

Treat patients and educate them about mental and medical conditions.
Provide advice and emotional support to patients and/or family members.
Run therapeutic groups and perform psychiatric crisis intervention.
Implement seclusion and restraint of patients when necessary.
Record patients’ medical histories and symptoms.
Assist in diagnostic tests and analyze results.
Operate medical machinery and administer treatment and medications.
Help with patient follow-up and rehabilitation.
Teach patients and their families how to manage their illness or injury, including diet and exercise programs and self-administration of medication.

Current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse
BLS certification
Knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards
Understanding of interdisciplinary treatment team processes
Experience in behavioral health programming and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient units
