Job Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation and education related to clinical quality and patient safety, accreditation, regulatory and licensing, risk management, and infection prevention and control.
  • Evaluate, design, develop, and implement evidence-based guidelines to reduce variation in clinical practice and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Collect, analyze, report, and present clinical data for various users including state, federal, and local agencies.
  • Facilitate education on compliance methods for regulatory reviews.
  • Monitor, report, and develop mitigation plans for occurrences that may lead to medical center liability.
  • Support the medical center's continuous survey readiness program to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a liaison with applicable government agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Promote learning by communicating information and providing advice to drive projects forward.
  • Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and provide performance feedback.
  • Practice self-leadership and adapt to competing demands and responsibilities.
  • Conduct or oversee business-specific projects by applying deep expertise.
  • Partner with internal and external parties to make effective business decisions and solve complex problems.
  • Develop work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines.
  • Recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities in project tasks.
  • Conduct advanced statistical analysis for quality improvement evaluations.
  • Investigate opportunities to improve reporting and narrative summaries of improvements.
  • Support quality improvement and risk management efforts by researching corrective action plans.
  • Conduct complex root cause analysis and other assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and improve quality improvement performance metrics.
  • Facilitate the development of quality improvement initiatives and leverage advanced technology.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for quality improvement processes and regulations.
  • Develop stakeholder development and quality performance review processes.
