Required Skills

Core Skills

Current VA (or Multi-state) RN license
Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school
Basic Life Support certification
ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC) required, or within six (6) months of hire
Trauma Nurse Certification Course (TNCC) preferred

Preferred Skills

Minimum of one (1) year of RN clinical experience in an emergency department
Minimum two (2) years supervisory/management or Charge Nurse experience in a patient care setting

American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC) required, or within six (6) months of hire
Trauma Nurse Certification Course (TNCC) preferred
