Conduct thorough patient assessments, including health histories and physical examinations.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
Provide education to patients and families regarding health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
Manage acute and chronic illnesses, including prescribing medications as necessary.
Utilize aseptic techniques in clinical procedures to ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in case management and home care settings.
Maintain accurate medical records using ICD-9 coding standards for documentation.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology and emergency medicine practices.

Experience:

Education: Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
