Job Title: Examiner Nurse Practitioner

Position: Nurse Practitioner conducting Compensation & Pension Examinations

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $136,864-$166,857 a year (Base + Monthly incentive)

Shift: Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm

Conduct Comprehensive Medical Disability Examinations, including reviewing medical history and conducting physical examinations.
Review and Analyze Medical Records to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Veteran's medical history.
Render Objective Medical Opinions based on examination findings and medical record review.
Work in a case management system to organize workload, submit findings, and correspond with the Quality Assurance Team.
Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals to obtain additional medical information for thorough evaluations.
Document Examination Findings in clear reports following established VA guidelines.
Partner with other Loyal Source departments to gain support and use resources for task completion.
Ensure Compliance and Quality with all relevant laws and standards in disability examinations.
Maintain Confidentiality of all patient information and examination results.

Experience: At least 1 year of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner.

Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing accredited by an institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
