Job Responsibilities

Establish and enforce policies, procedures, standards, and objectives.
Direct and supervise staff as well as workflow.
Maintain budgetary or fiscal accountability.
Ensure effective operation of the assigned Nursing department 24 hours a day.
Exert leadership support for the hospital’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
Focus on patients, physicians, employees, volunteers, and the community as customers.
Assess, improve, coordinate, and integrate department services and standards of care into the hospital’s primary function.
Approve timekeeping and employee evaluations.
Meet applicable regulatory standards.
Approve supply orders and department strategic planning.

Training in wound care and hyperbaric therapy

Requirements

Experience: Five years experience in nursing management in a hospital setting with three years supervisory experience required.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management or related field, or equivalent minimum experience requirements.

License & Certification:

Current Arizona Registered Nurse License
Training in wound care and hyperbaric therapy from a nationally recognized provider
WOCN certification preferred
