Establish and enforce policies, procedures, standards and objectives for the nursing department.
Direct and supervise staff as well as workflow.
Maintain budgetary or fiscal accountability for the department.
Ensure ongoing effective operation of the assigned Nursing department.
Support the hospital’s mission, vision, goals and objectives.
Focus on patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and the community as customers.
Accountable for continuous assessment, improvement, coordination and integration of department services and standards of care.
Approve timekeeping and employee evaluations.
Meet applicable regulatory standards.
Approve supply orders and participate in department strategic planning.

Experience: Five years experience in nursing management in a hospital setting with three years supervisory experience required.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management or related field.

License & Certification:

Current Arizona Registered Nurse License.
Training in wound care and hyperbaric therapy from a nationally recognized provider.
