Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physicians' orders and the residents' total needs.
- Ensure 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
- Assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
Preferred Skills
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required.
- Flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
Requirements
Experience: Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required; prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
License & Certification:
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing.
