Job Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for all nursing and patient care functions.
- Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing practice at the facility level.
- Retain skilled personnel by collaborating with human resources for selection, onboarding, and coaching.
- Evaluate and monitor facility-level people pillar statistics.
- Implement nurse residency programs to ensure a pipeline for the facility.
- Collaborate to formulate programs that enhance work-life balance.
- Promote a safe work environment with zero tolerance for harassment and violence.
- Develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies for a qualified workforce.
- Participate in workforce planning and support competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to manage relationships.
- Create and communicate a compelling shared vision and develop effective strategies.
- Engage staff in decision-making processes that are patient-centered.
- Ensure nursing practice aligns with current standards and evidence-based practices.
- Support educational development opportunities for nursing students and staff.
- Manage fiscal, human, and material resources in a cost-effective manner.
- Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety programs.
- Monitor and evaluate service indicators and implement action plans as needed.

Requirements
Experience: At least five years of progressive management experience in a facility environment as an Associate Chief Nursing Officer or Nursing Director
Education: Academic degree in nursing; master's degree in Nursing or related field required
License & Certification:
- Active registered nurse license in the state of practice
