Job Responsibilities
- Manage clinical and operational activities within assigned shift.
- Support the unit director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services.
- Provide managerial presence for all shifts.
- Manage clinical and non-clinical caregivers.
- Provide input for performance evaluation to the director/manager.
- Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and monitor compliance to policies, processes, and clinical priorities.
- Coach, mentor, and collaborate to deliver quality health care to patients.
- Direct and supervise functions and activities within the unit.
- Interpret policies, procedures, protocols, standards, and regulations appropriate to the unit.
- Maintain clinical competence and certifications to assist the unit when required.
- Participate in self-development and planned mentoring in collaboration with the director/manager.

- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
