Job Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in managing the Nursing Department.
- Ensure adherence to all regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure all nursing staff comply with their job descriptions and perform to the highest standards.
- Participate in facility surveys as requested, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
- Conduct daily rounds to verify that nursing personnel are meeting accepted standards of care.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Valid RN License in the State of Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing experience in long-term care
- Demonstrated leadership and management abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Managerial experience
