Job Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care issues including changing bedding and clothing.
- Help with bathing hospice patients and maintaining hygienic routines such as brushing teeth and washing hair.
- Ensure wound dressings are clean and dry.
- Instruct family members on how to perform basic health-care routines for terminally ill patients.
- Consult regularly with supervising registered nurses regarding patient progression and family needs.
Required Skills

- Experience in direct client care in an institutional or home health setting.
- Strong communication skills to relay observations to supervisors.
- Ability to recognize the needs of individuals and maintain good relationships.

Requirements
Experience: Must have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in direct client care.
Education:
License & Certification:
- Registered and listed in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of employment.
