Job Responsibilities

Provide nursing care and service during surgery cases.
Position the patient and prep the patient for surgery.
Circulate the surgical case.
Help surgical patients through their inpatient stay, providing basic care needs under the direction of a RN.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Current Arizona Nursing License
Current CPR and ACLS certification
Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees
Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills

Preferred Skills

Minimum of two (2) previous OR experience
Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse
Ability to care for patients from adult to geriatrics

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of two (2) previous OR experience preferred.

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

License & Certification:

Current Arizona Nursing License
Current CPR certification
Current ACLS certification
