Job Responsibilities
- Implements and monitors orientation program for all new employees according to policies, procedures and Federal/State requirements.
- Reviews Nursing Exception Report and compares it to the schedule and hall assignment.
- Posts Daily Staffing Requirement per Federal and State Regulations.
- Completes and maintains accurate working schedules in compliance with State Staffing Regulations and facility budget.
- Participates and attends monthly QA meetings.
- Attends and participates in daily morning meetings.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current LPN by State required.
- Experience in the long-term care or working with the geriatric population.
- Experience in a Staff Development or Scheduling role.
- Clerical ability to read reports and utilize data accurately.
- Skill in organizing and planning programs and managing personnel.
Preferred Skills
- At least two - three years nursing experience.
- Ability to plan and direct the department, coordinating with other departments.
