Demonstrates an understanding in delivering holistic care through collaborative strategies with others in a team environment.
Has knowledge of program regulations and is able to carry out objectives of the Nursing program.
Provides direct nursing care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings.
Follows guidelines to meet and maintain program requirements.
Administers nursing care to patients, such as baths, enemas, treatments, and minor dressing changes.
Prepares patients for diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.
Participates in the interdisciplinary treatment team meeting process.
Identifies, reports, and documents medication errors/discrepancies, reactions, and side effects.
Takes and accurately records vital signs, height, and weight in Electronic Health Records.
Prepares and administers prescribed medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular).
May be required to float to all areas within the ambulatory care clinics as needed.

Experience: None beyond the basic requirements; preference for candidates with two years of professional experience.

Education: Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency or accredited by NLNAC.

License & Certification:

Active, full, current and unrestricted licensure as a Graduate Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse

COVID-19 Requirements: Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement.
