Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for a professional nurse.
- Perform all staff nurse activities and function as charge nurse when assigned.
- Maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients.
- Delegate activities/tasks to Technical Nurses, Patient Care Associates, and/or Sitters as appropriate.
- Provide nursing care to surgical/procedural patients in the pre-operative phase.
- Interview, educate, and provide patient-appropriate interventions for anesthesia services.

Requirements
Experience: Less than one year related experience
Education: Associate's degree, BSN preferred
License & Certification:
- Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Florida
- BLS from the American Heart Association
