Position: Specialist in Cardiovascular Procedures

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $15,000 Sign-on Bonus, $3,000 Relocation Bonus

Shift: 4 9-hour shifts (6:30am-4pm), call required within 1st year of opening

Performs a wide range of technical skills during Diagnostic Cardiovascular, Non-ablation Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology procedures.
Ensures efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients.
Acts proficiently in angiography preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring according to department and hospital policies.
Participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships.
Follows CDC isolation guidelines and uses PPE appropriately.
Identifies and prepares patient using aseptic technique as dictated by procedure.
Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and enforces safety regulations.
Verifies orders and communicates with physicians as needed.
Performs treatments and administers medications according to policy and training.
Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies and evaluates the effectiveness of interventions and medications.
Maintains accurate and secure medical records based on clinical conditions and intervention procedures.
Performs effectively in circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing roles in a therapeutic cardiac laboratory.
Takes call as assigned and responds according to policy.
Proficiently performs diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Learns and updates skills while assisting with training and education of new personnel.

Experience:

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields

License & Certification:

Current valid State of Florida or multi-state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Radiologic Technologist [R.T.(R)]
Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
National Registry of Paramedics (NREMT-P)
