Job Responsibilities
- Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiological, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, cognitive status, nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy.
- Formulates a goal-directed plan of care when appropriate.
- Implements care consistently and thoroughly.
- Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential needs and available resources.
- Identifies and meets patient/family learning needs.
- Demonstrates awareness of patient/family rights and cultural beliefs.
- Provides and coordinates care for patients/patient populations.

Required Skills

- Registered Nurse License (California)
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English

- Demonstrated knowledge of the RN scope of practice

Requirements
Experience: Six months recent experience in an acute care setting or completion of orientation in the KP New Graduate/Residency Training Program.
Education: High School Diploma/GED; Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program and completion of required clinical hours.
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse License (California)
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire
