Job Responsibilities

Deliver quality nursing care for all patients on the Adolescent Units.
Oversee unit activities for each shift.
Supervise the Mental Health Techs working on the unit.
Administer prescribed medications.
Provide medication educational groups and other educational groups.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Current license to practice nursing in Florida
Current CPR or BLS certification
Crisis intervention skills
Ability to perform physical intervention with out of control patients

Preferred Skills

One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting

Requirements

Experience: Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Education:

License & Certification:

Registered Nurse license in Florida
Current CPR or BLS certification
